An open forum led by Dr. Mehran Hossaini on Wednesday, August 20, in Lecture Room B (12–1 PM). The session focused on residency application and interview preparedness, with time for Q&A and discussion of best practices.
What I Learned:
I gained insight into effective strategies for residency interviews, common concerns applicants face, and key steps to strengthen an application. I also learned the importance of preparation early in the process and how D3 students can begin positioning themselves for success.
How the Activity Relates to Coursework or Career Goals:
This forum directly supports my career goal of pursuing residency training by providing practical guidance on navigating the application and interview process. The information complements my academic development by preparing me for the professional transition after dental school.
