Give Kids A Smile Day 2025
On April 17th, 2025, I volunteered for Give Kids A Smile Day through the Temple Pediatric Club. We spent time with the kids in the waiting room by playing games, coloring, applying temporary tattoos, and doing other fun activities to help them feel more relaxed before their appointments. It was such a fun and rewarding experience, and I really saw how much of a difference a little engagement can make in easing a child’s anxiety. This meant a lot to me, especially because I’m interested in specializing in pediatrics. Building trust and making kids feel safe in a dental setting is such an important part of providing good care.
