Volunteer at MBC Summer Youth Retreat 2024
During the summer of 2024, from August 2nd to August 4th, I volunteered as a small group teacher at MBC Church’s Youth Summer Retreat, which took place at a natural hot springs for three days and two nights. I was responsible for teaching and mentoring a group of eight middle school and early high school students. Over the course of the retreat, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the gospel, participated in fellowship activities, and enjoyed various summer activities, which helped the students and me build strong connections. This experience allowed me to develop my leadership and communication skills while fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth within the group. Managing discussions, coordinating group activities, and creating an open, engaging environment strengthened my ability to mentor and guide others, skills that are directly applicable to my future career and personal goals.
