Volunteer at MBC Summer VBS 2024
During the summer of 2024, from July 10th to July 13th, I volunteered as a 5th-grade teacher at MBC Church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS), an experience that has greatly impacted my personal and professional development. Over three days (July 10th–12th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and July 13th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), I led engaging lessons and activities designed to foster learning and teamwork among the children, while on the final day, known as Water Park Day, I was assigned to safety duty, ensuring that the children were safe during water activities. Through this experience, I developed critical skills in leadership, communication, and adaptability as I balanced maintaining order and keeping the children engaged in a fun, energetic environment. Water Park Day, in particular, allowed me to strengthen my ability to make quick decisions under pressure, vital in any supervision or management role. This volunteer role enhanced my confidence in managing groups and ensuring safety, both of which align with the leadership and organizational skills required in my future career.
