Suture Workshop

- Details of the activity: we learned about basic to more advanced suturing techniques and their use cases from Perio club members and Perio grad residents.
- What you learned: I learned a lot from this workshop. I got to do hands-on basic suturing (simple interrupted and continuous) and learned bout use cases of more advanced techniques, for instance, horizontal and vertical mattress.
- How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals: this relates to my future career as I would love to do more surgeries and I believe good, clean suturing skills will enable my patients to heal better post-op.
