D1 mentor
I was one of the D1 mentors, paired with four current post-bac mentee along with some fellow D2s and D3s. I am a mentor from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 on behalf of the new D1s. As a mentor, I maintained communication with my mentee, provided tips, advice and my own experiences in the curriculum. I learned importance of becoming a mentor, to guide and lead new students adapting to the new life in dental school. This relates to my future career goals as I’d like to be a mentor to the new generation of dentist and give back to the community that has helped me in my own journey.
