- At the journal study session with Dr. Gangwani, we looked at new research in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She helped us understand how scientific articles are written and how to look at them with a critical eye. I learned how to spot strong and weak points in research and how to use that info to help real patients.
- How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals
- Add skills I need for my evidence-based dentistry classes. It also connected to my goal of becoming an oral surgeon by showing me what real research in the field looks like and giving me the chance to learn from someone working in it.
