SPEA National Dentist’s Day Card Making Event
On Tuesday, March 4th, I attended a volunteering event hosted by the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association (SPEA), in which we made cards that would be donated with dental supplies to the Salvation Army for National Dentist’s Day. As a community service oriented individual, this event meant a lot to me, and reminded me that seemingly small acts of kindness can hopefully make large positive impacts in others’ lives. I hope to continue engaging in community service based activities as a dental student, and later as a practicing dentist.
