Occlusal considerations in maintaining health of dental implants and their restorations

- I learned about the importance and influences of the occlusion in success and maintenance of a dental implant.
- I will be starting my first year as a student dentist (D3) and having implant cases, where the abutment has already been placed by the specialist the crown is going to be designed and done by general dentist normally. This will have a great role to play and indicates the longevity of the implant as a whole fixed prosthetic. Now I feel I have a head start in the concept and execution of this procedure.
