TUKSoD Post-Baccalaureate Program Mentor
As a mentor in the TUKSoD Post-Baccalaureate Program during the Fall 2023 semester, I worked closely with two post-baccalaureate students, providing guidance on their coursework, offering clinic tips, and sharing effective strategies for excelling in the DAT. Through this experience, I developed stronger leadership and communication skills, as I had to explain complex concepts clearly and offer personalized advice based on each student’s needs. This mentoring role deepened my understanding of dental concepts and the challenges students face, which directly aligns with my career goals of becoming a dental professional who not only excels clinically but also contributes to the growth of others in the field.
