Setting the stage: Smile analysis and smile design
On January 15th, I attended a Lunch and Learn sponsored by Temple ASDA, where Dr. John Weierbach, a prosthodontist, presented “Setting the Stage: Smile Analysis and Smile Design.” The session covered the principles of smile analysis, including the importance of golden ratio, facial proportions, dental symmetry, and individualized treatment planning. This experience deepened my understanding of integrating aesthetics with function, complementing my prosthodontics coursework and aligning with my goal of providing comprehensive, patient-focused dental care.
