TUKSoD Program Mentor
In the Fall 2024 semester, I had the opportunity to mentor four first-year dental (D1) students in the TUKSoD Program. My role involved helping them transition smoothly into the rigors of dental school by providing guidance on their courses, sharing preclinic-related tips, and offering advice on managing their workload. I focused on building their confidence as they navigated their first year in both academic and preclinical settings. Through this experience, I strengthened my knowledge of foundational dental concepts while honing my mentorship skills. This role directly supports my career goals, as it reinforces my desire to lead and support future dental professionals in their journey.
