Lunch was provided to attendees who RSVP\u2019d.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"1050\"><strong data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"582\">What I Learned:<\/strong><br data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"585\" \/>I gained valuable insight into how a dental degree can be leveraged across different career trajectories. Dr. Choi shared his personal journey, highlighting the opportunities and challenges in building a practice, pursuing academic teaching, and even engaging in entrepreneurial ventures. I learned that flexibility and adaptability are essential in shaping a fulfilling dental career, and that success can come in many forms beyond traditional clinical practice.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1636\"><strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1096\">Relation to Coursework and Career Goals:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1099\" \/>This event directly connects to my professional development as a dental student preparing for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) career. The talk reinforced the importance of thinking strategically about my long-term goals\u2014whether in academia, private practice, or hospital-based practice\u2014and how I can apply both clinical and leadership skills acquired during dental school.
