Led by experienced D4 students from the <strong data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"508\">Oral &amp; Maxillofacial Surgery Society (OMSS)<\/strong>, the session focused on proper needle handling, knot tying, and precision placement of sutures.Participants brought their own suture kits and practiced various suture patterns under direct guidance, helping to build foundational skills and boost confidence in performing surgical closures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"853\"><strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"853\">Connection to Coursework and Career Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"1356\">This workshop complements our coursework in <strong data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"935\">oral surgery and clinical skills<\/strong> by offering a safe environment to practice essential techniques outside of the operatory. It also reinforces the importance of manual dexterity and attention to detail\u2014skills that are critical for success in clinical rotations and future specialization, particularly in <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1240\">oral and maxillofacial surgery<\/strong>.
