She spoke about the importance of understanding insurance, learning the &#8220;slowest part of YOUR procedures&#8221; and how to work on that and how to navigate difficult patients and situations.<\/li>\n<li>How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals &#8212; This was an eye-opening lunch and learn where we got to hear about the &#8220;raw&#8221; stories of a dentist right out of dental school and how she applied and worked in different positions after school. She spoke about working in large practices versus private\/small practices.
