Give Kids a Smile @ William D. Kelley School
On February 8th, 2024, I volunteered at William D. Kelley School for Give Kids a Smile Day, which was affiliated with the Pediatric Club. As a D1, I helped meet and greet the children and their parents, and then entertained the kids. I also helped with cleaning rooms and assisting when necessary. This event was not only a great way to be introduced to the pediatric clinic at William D. Kelley School, but also the event helped provide free dental care for kids in the area. I fully enjoyed this event, and continued to spark my interest in pediatrics in the future.
