- What you learned — I learned about buying versus leasing a dental practice, the concepts of “older” and “newer” dentistry and about the experiences of Dr. Ryan and Dr. Michael Bydalek. I also learned about disability insurance and how important it is to get started on applying my D4 year.
- How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals — As a D2, it was interesting to hear about Dr. Ryan’s transition from the classroom to the clinic and then from being a student at Temple to working “in the real world”. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to BOTH dentists and hearing their own personal experiences.
