Dr. Burke Oral Surgeon through AO
I attended a talk in Lecture Room A on November 3 where Dr. Johnathon Burke presented about what its like to become an oral surgeon, cases he\’s worked on, and other cool stuff he has helped develop. I learned a lot about what you need to do to become an oral surgeon, and about how he was one the first surgeon in the Delaware Valley to pioneer the placement of craniofacial implants for bone anchored hearing aids. The activity related to my career goals because it expanded my horizons and knowledge on what oral surgeons do.
