TUKSoD Program Mentor
I am continuing my mentorship of D1 students into the Spring 2025 semester, building upon the foundation established during Fall 2024. After initially connecting with them at the 13th Annual Ice Cream Social and guiding them through their first semester, I am now focusing on providing them with a fresh outlook as they transition into more advanced coursework and clinical experiences. I continue supporting them academically by discussing study strategies, time management, and preparing for exams. My goal is to help them gain confidence in their abilities while adapting to the increasing demands of dental school. Regular check-ins and open communication remain key, ensuring that they feel supported as they progress in their journey. Through this ongoing mentorship, I continue to enhance my leadership abilities, strengthen my interpersonal communication skills, and deepen my understanding of how to foster a collaborative learning environment. This experience remains invaluable in preparing me for my future career in dentistry, where mentorship and teamwork play a critical role in professional growth and patient care.
