  4. This program started on August 30th and is ongoing.<\/li>\n
  5. Through this program, I learned how vital mentorship and support from upperclassmen can be to one’s success. It was through this very own mentor program that I was able to navigate my own path in dental school as a D1. As a D2, I am trying to provide the same support to underclassmen that I received last year.<\/li>\n
  6. Mentorship and collaboration plays an important role in any field, including dentistry. I am constantly learning from faculty, upperclassmen, and my own peers in class and in pre-clininc. My support system, in addition to my own dedication, is how I am able to grow as a future clinician.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
