I volunteered at the 2026 Philadelphia DEKA FIT & Ultra, sponsored by Spartan/DEKA, on August 8, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. During the event, I assisted with event operations and supported athletes and staff to help the competition run smoothly. Through this experience, I learned the importance of teamwork, communication, organization, and supporting others in a fast-paced environment. This experience relates to my career goals in dentistry because effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential when working with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
