Practice Management Club Lunch and Learn
I attended a lunch and learn event hosted by the Dental practice management club on Jan 9 at 12 PM in Lecture Hall A. The session featured Dr. Daniel Markel, a recent graduate of Temple Dental and Temple’s Orthodontic Residency, who shared his firsthand experience purchasing a dental practice. During the presentation, I learned about the practical steps involved in buying a practice, including evaluating opportunities, financial planning, and challenges faced after graduation. Hearing directly from a recent graduate career goals by providing early exposure to practice management and ownership, complementing my dental education and helping me better prepare for future career decisions as a dentist.
