2026 Citizens Bank Park Spartan Stadion Event
I volunteered at the Spartan Stadion Event on August 29, 2026, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. During the race, I guided participants in the correct direction while creating a postive and energetic atmosphere through encouragement and motivation. It was rewarding to support participants as they challenged themselves and worked toward completing the course. After the race, I collaborated with other volunteers to dismantle the event setup, organize equipment, and move supplies.
This experience strengthened my communication, teamwork, leadership, and organization skills. It also taught me how encouragement and positive attitude can influence someone’s confidence and performance. These lessons relate to my dental education and career goals because dental professionals must work effectively with a team, communicate clearly, and support partients as they overcome anxiety and work toward better oral health.
